Given the fact that there isn’t a scientific study on the face of planet earth supporting that masks stop airborne viral particles, and given the fact that that is way COVID spreads, I highly doubt this is an accurate assumption. There is little to no evidence of asymptomatic spread, so I’d be super curious to see if those stylists were symptomatic or getting tested regularly out of an abundance of caution. I would wager the latter.
